'Down not dead' met Kane & Lynch 2

Vandaag kregen we nieuwe details over Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days van ontwikkelaar IO Interactive. We krijgen info over een nieuw gameplay onderdeel genaamd 'Down not dead'. Door deze feature kan de speler die is doodgeschoten de situatie omdraaien om toch te proberen aan het noodlot te ontsnappen. Dit stond op de officiële weblog van IO Interactive: 

“Once in a while you wish you had a second chance. You see the guy opening fire just on the edge of your screen but there isn’t enough time to dispatch him as well as the guy you’ve got your sights trained on. And so you make a split decision and blow the guy in front of you away only to find that the one next to you was carrying a shotgun. You’re down. But you’re not necessarily dead. Not in Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days. Instead, you find yourself facing your would-be killer, your gun trained on him and with the chance to either shoot back or grab your ass and get into better cover."

Wel opletten, dit geeft je geen onsterfelijkheid, het komt maar op zeldzame gelegenheden voor. En ook NPC's kunnen gebruik maken van deze functie, dus opletten geblazen. Waarschijnlijk kunnen we Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days spelen in augustus. De exacte releasedatum wordt waarschijnlijk bekend gemaakt op de E3 van dit jaar.
