DLC Mass Effect 2 en Dragon Age zijn een succes

"If our fans buy our DLC and support us, we'll keep on delivering it." Bioware heeft deze belofte gemaakt en ze zullen deze zeker ook nakomen, althans dat hopen we. Ray Muzyka, CEO bij Bioware, vertelde tegen X360A dat de verkoop van DLC voor Mass Effect 2 en Dragon Age: Origins zeer vlot verloopt en dat het zelfs hun verwachtingen overtroffen heeft. 

"We know how it sells. We’re really, really happy with it actually. Dragon Age has been outstanding, it’s exceeded our expectations; so has Mass Effect 2."

"So the fans have been incredibly supportive and that allows us to invest more back for them," he continued, "Building more content, making sure it’s really awesome, and try and sustain it post-launch. That’s one of our goals in all of our franchises."

De 'Witch Hunt DLC' voor Dragon Age: Origins en 'Shadow Broker DLC' voor Mass Effect 2 komen allebei uit op 7 september. Bioware noemde 'Witch Hunt' de laatste DLC voor Dragon Age: Origins op de officiële website maar het gaf wel een hint dat de ondersteuning voor het spel nog langer zou doorgaan. 

De toekomst zal uitwijzen wat dit betekent, maar nog meer DLC zouden vele gamers vanzelfsprekend niet afslaan. To be continued.
