Bad Company- en Mass Effect-sequel in 2010! [UPDATE]

Tijdens een nieuwe conference call onthulde Electronic Arts haar plannen voor de nabije toekomst. Een opvolger voor de sci-fi RPG Mass Effect werd reeds een paar maanden geleden door Bioware zelve bevestigd, maar vandaag raakte bekend dat dit spel tegen het einde van het fiscale jaar 2009 in de winkels zal liggen. Dit wil met andere woorden eigenlijk zeggen dat wij het pas ten vroegste in 2010 zullen zien, in plaats van tijdens de (meestal) drukke herfstperiode.

Er is trouwens nog een sequel die door John Riccitiello (de CEO van EA) werd bevestigd. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 gaat namelijk eveneens in hetzelfde kwartaal verkrijgbaar zijn, maar net als bij Mass Effect 2 weigerde de man om op dit moment verdere uitleg over de online shooter te bieden. Aangezien de developers nog minstens een jaar de tijd kregen om beide titels op punt te stellen, zit de kans er dik in dat we nog een poosje moeten wachten voor concrete details...
